How long we keep it.

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide the services you use, handle your requests and meet our legal obligations. Here’s what that means for your account and your privacy requests.

Accounts and business records

We keep the information needed to run and protect your account while you use Tringify. If you own a store or organisation, you may need to transfer ownership or close it before we can delete your personal account.

Some records, such as invoices and payment history, may need to be kept after you close your account to meet tax requirements or resolve a dispute. We’ll explain any exceptions that apply to your deletion request.

Privacy Centre requests

Information	Retention
Email confirmation links	Expire after 24 hours and can be used once.
Access through your email link	Lasts for 24 hours. Confirming a new access link ends access through the previous one.
Unconfirmed submissions	Removed after seven days if email verification is not completed.
Your data download	Available for seven days. Download your copy before it expires.
Completed request history	Normally kept for two years after your request closes, so we have a record of how we handled it. We may keep it longer if required by law.

Store customers

If you shopped at a store using Tringify, the merchant sets its own retention periods. Check the store’s Privacy Policy or contact the merchant to ask how long it keeps your information and what it can delete.

What happens after deletion

When we fulfil a deletion request, we remove the information covered by that request. Some copies may remain in backups for a limited time before those backups expire.

We may need to keep certain records to meet legal obligations, prevent fraud or resolve a dispute. Those records stay protected and are used only for the reason we need to keep them. We’ll explain when this affects your request.
