Your information.
The right place to ask.
When you shop with a business using Tringify, that merchant is responsible for the customer information it collects to operate its store. Tringify provides the platform and helps the merchant handle requests.
Start with the store
Open the store’s Privacy Policy for its contact details. Tringify-hosted stores also provide a privacy-request page at the store’s website followed by /privacy-request.
For example, if the store is shop.example, visit https://shop.example/privacy-request. Use the store’s actual website; Tringify does not operate the example address.
- Ask for an export of your personal data or request deletion.
- Use your signed-in customer account, or confirm your email if you shopped as a guest.
- Follow the updates and response date provided by the store.
What the merchant handles
The merchant reviews requests concerning its customer records, orders, communications and other store data. Some information may need to be retained for tax, transaction records, disputes or other legal obligations. The merchant should explain its decision and any information it retains.
A request to one store does not delete information held by other merchants or close your separate Tringify account.
If you need to raise a concern
If you cannot reach the merchant or have a concern about how a Tringify store handles your data, you can contact us. Include the store address, what you requested and when. We can review the concern and help identify the appropriate next step.
